IF YOU ARE A NATIONAL FEDERATION AND YOU NEED A VISA FOR YOUR TEAM MEMBERS FOR THE 2024 WORLD ROWING BEACH SPRINT FINALS.

National Federation’s Teams who require assistance to obtain visas for entry to Italy to attend the 2024 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals in Genoa are asked provide the following information for all team members including rowers, coaches, technical staff, etc… to the Organizing Committee and to FIC:

• name
• date of birth
• passport number
• passport expiry date
• name and address of Hotel where they will be staying
• confirmation that travel, accommodation and medical insurance expenses will be at your own costs
• arrival and departure dates

The request must contain the indication of the Italian consulate/embassy of the city and country where you will apply, the indication of the Regatta you will be attending and the period of staying in Italy.

Please submit your request using the attached form at least 25 days before the event and send it to segreteria@canottaggio.org and segreteria@genoa2024wrcoastal.com.
Please verify that information provided are accurate.

Please include all members of the delegation of your country in one application. It’s inappropriate to make more than one request for the same Delegation for the same event (example: coaches education programme/ rowers for development programme/ rowers and staff for the regatta/ u19 – u23 – senior -staff must be included all in one request for the same event).
We cannot open more than one procedure for the same delegation for the same event.
If you are not able to include all the people at the time of the request, please choose the choice of the touristic visa application for the rest of the person you might not include in the request. Officials must have a sport related role in the delegation (no sponsor, or translator etc…)

Please only apply for the team member that are actually attending the event. Long list will not be accepted and processed.

We will not accept photocopy of the passports that DON’T need to be attached the request. Please make sure that the information, numbers and dates included in the form are correct and accurate.

FIC will send a request with all relevant information to our NOC which will contact the Italian Embassy of your Country (indicated in form) through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A protocol number be issued when your practice will be successfully forwarded to the Embassy. FIC will inform you about this protocol number.
On receipt of this protocol number you will need to make an appointment with the Italian Embassy in your country and show the protocol number and the passports of the concerned people corresponding to forms.
